    The service was really bad no hello and thank you, had a sandwich and a drink came to £6.30, the bread was stale and the was hardly any filling only at the displayed side not through to the crust and the filling was the worst ever, the hot chocolate was luke warm,

    very pleasing lunch during a visit to the Lancaster castle, a varied menu with several very specific local dishes, also believe Evening setting are worth doing.

    Spent a lot of time here, probably the nicest cafe in the city. Great decor and very relaxed. Drinks are very good, and although the food menu can be a bit hit and miss there's always something worth having. Very friendly staff, too. Well worth a visit.
